The subjects you will learn

This course is a continuation from the Level 1/International Mixology Course. We take the whole level 1 syllabus as a prerequisite and fully acquired and we are pushing students to the next level in terms of spirits knowledge, brand awareness and cocktail Ingredients & techniques.

BEGINNER PROGRAM

BARTENDING FUNDAMENTALS

Get a clear understanding of how the industry works and operates.

We will cover:

  • The History of bartending
  • Knowledge of the different sections and how to operate them effectively
  • Roles, responsibilities and duties involved
  • How to set up the bar
  • Code of conduct and how to work well in a team
  • How to operate and run a perfect shift
  • Opening and Closing Procedures

MIXING TECHNUQUES

Learn and practice techniques and get familiar with key bar tools.

We will cover:

  • Shaking, Stirring, Throwing, Muddling, Layering, Build, Swizzling etc…
  • How to combine & blend ingredients
